Privacy, plainly.
Effective October 5, 2026
Accounts are optional.
You can make, save, and export diagrams without an account. If you create one, we store your email address, name, a securely hashed password, and session records (including IP address and browser information) so you can sign in. This data is stored in a Neon Postgres database.
Where your diagrams are stored.
Without an account, diagram titles, notes, items, and style choices are stored only in your browser’s local storage on this device. When you are signed in, the same diagram content is also saved to your account in our database so it syncs across your devices. Diagram content is not sent to an AI provider unless you use AI generation.
AI generation.
AI features require an account. When you use them, your prompt and, when refining, the open diagram’s content are sent to Google’s Gemini API, or to OpenAI if Gemini is unavailable, to produce the diagram. We record the time and model of each generation to enforce plan limits; we don’t store your prompts. See Google’s privacy policy and OpenAI’s privacy policy for how they handle API data.
You control saved work.
Delete a diagram in My diagrams to remove it from this browser and, when signed in, from your account. Export JSON backups to keep your work. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them. To delete your account and all diagrams stored with it, contact the maintainer using the link below.
Basic website operation.
The website is hosted on Vercel. When you visit, the hosting provider receives technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time, to deliver and protect the service. See Vercel’s privacy policy and Neon’s privacy policy for details about their processing.
This release does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Cookies are used only to keep you signed in. Website assets and the rendering engine are served with the app.
Imports and exports.
Imported JSON project files are read locally. Exported SVG, PNG, and JSON files are generated in the browser. You decide where to store or share them.
Questions and changes.
Privacy inquiries can be directed to the project maintainer through the maintainer’s GitHub profile. If the service adds features that change how data is processed, this page will be updated before those features are introduced.
