What text format works best?
Put a title on the first line, optionally starting with #. Then write one idea per line as Label: description. Bullets and numbered lists work too; the markers are removed.
How long can my text be?
Up to 50 main ideas and 150 items in total. Infographics read best with three to eight short items, so keep labels brief and move detail into descriptions.
Can I change colors and fonts?
Open the diagram in the editor to choose palettes, a custom brand color, typography, a hand-drawn finish, and over 280 more layouts.
Is this text to infographic tool really free?
Yes. You can write, preview, switch layouts, and download a PNG or SVG without an account or a card. Signing up is only needed for AI drafting and cloud sync.
Does this page use AI?
No. The preview follows your lines exactly: each line becomes an item, a colon adds a description, and indentation adds a branch. Nothing is invented. If you want AI to draft or rewrite a diagram, open it in the editor and sign up for 10 free AI credits a month.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The diagram is drawn in your browser. When you choose Open in editor, it's saved to this browser's local storage, not to a server, unless you sign in and turn on sync.
Can I use the infographic commercially?
Yes. What you make is yours to use in slides, documents, social posts, and client work.
