How do I make a pros and cons list?
Write Pros on one line and Cons on the next group, with each point indented beneath. Choose the Pros and cons layout for paired cards.
Can I compare more than two options?
These layouts are built for two sides, which keeps comparisons honest and readable. For three or more options, try the cards or SWOT layouts in the editor.
What if I don't indent anything?
A flat list is split evenly into two groups, so it still renders. Indenting under named sides gives you clear headings.
Is this comparison chart maker really free?
Yes. You can write, preview, switch layouts, and download a PNG or SVG without an account or a card. Signing up is only needed for AI drafting and cloud sync.
Does this page use AI?
No. The preview follows your lines exactly: each line becomes an item, a colon adds a description, and indentation adds a branch. Nothing is invented. If you want AI to draft or rewrite a diagram, open it in the editor and sign up for 10 free AI credits a month.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The diagram is drawn in your browser. When you choose Open in editor, it's saved to this browser's local storage, not to a server, unless you sign in and turn on sync.
Can I add details to each point?
Yes. Write Point: detail, like Builds equity: Payments become ownership over time.
